My Gothenburg

I was born in Linné in the seventies. My parents have lived in the same house for half a century and that’s where I grew up. It has shaped me as an artist in many ways. I have spent a lot of time putting my feelings for this place on paper.

The Inner Yard

The view from the flat where I grew up on Alfhemsgatan and where I created my first drawings.

Large view of Gothenburg

I call this picture large view of Gothenburg, but it’s mainly of Haga, Linné and Slottskogen in the distance.

The large chimney is Hagabadet and you can see the water tower in Slottskogen.

Original size: 70×100cm

Paper, fineliners and lots of time

I love working on a project of this scale. After the sketchwork is done, I just draw whenever I have time. The image is available as a fine art print in the original 100 × 70 cm size.

Alfhemsgatan

Alfhemsgatan, with its turn‑of‑the‑century buildings — high ceilings, creaking herringbone floors, and old tiled stoves. The cries of seagulls echoing between the walls.

From the living‑room window, I could see the steep street I had to climb on my way to school in grades 7–9.

Linné

Looking down from Skansberget with Skansen Kronan behind me towards Prinsgatan. It’s a lovely view of Linné up here.
